AEP Texas has the earned ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy for its continued outstanding contributions in the transition to a clean energy economy. The award reflects work and programming administered by the AEP Texas Energy Efficiency & Consumer Programs work group.
“Over the years, all of our Energy Efficiency Programs have delivered energy savings to our customers,” Robert Cavazos, EE & CP manager, said. “Because of the extra focus and dedication our High Performance-New Homes program achieves, AEP Texas has once again been named Energy Star Partner of the Year.”
Each year, the ENERGY STAR program honors a select group of businesses and organizations to be ENERGY STAR award winners. Honorees lead their industries in the production, sale, and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, buildings, services, and strategies. These efforts are essential to fighting the climate crisis, protecting public health, and creating a clean energy future for everyone.
The ENERGY STAR program is administered by Melissa Proske, Energy Efficiency & Consumer Programs Coordinator, Principal.
“Melissa Proske has an exceptionally good relationship with her contractor and together they assure we meet our customer’s expectations,” Cavazos said. “I am proud of Melissa and our team’s success.”
