Tropical Storm Bertha Approaches: Customers in Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi and Laredo Should Expect Weather Impacts

As Tropical Storm Bertha moves toward landfall on the Texas coast, AEP Texas has completed key positioning activities to support a safe and efficient response. Line crews, support personnel and vegetation management resources are staged across the Corpus Christi District, with particular focus along the mid-Texas coast. Depending on the storm's final path, customers in the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi and Laredo districts should prepare for heavy rain, strong winds, possible localized flooding and potential power outages.
