Employees from Distribution, Engineering, and Metering spent the day with kindergarten through 12-grade students from IDEA Mission Academy during their Career Day on January 28.
AEP Texas crews met in San Benito in February to review tree-trimming safety practices, easement guidelines and customer communication protocols aimed at preventing tree-related injuries and reducing outages.

Dozens of first responders from across the state are utilizing AEP Texas property as severe winds threaten the area and create higher chances of wildfires. From brush trucks to ambulances, roughly 20 emergency resources are stationed at the AEP Texas Meter Services as a precautionary measure.

During an annual banquet and awards ceremony for the Bee County Chamber of Commerce, AEP Texas was presented with a Milestone Award which recognized the company’s contributions to the community for over 100 years.
AEP Texas marked its seventh year supporting the Crossroads Heart Walk in Victoria on February 7.
Six employees from AEP Texas/WiNUP-Corpus Christi helped distribute food to roughly 100 west side families in need.
Employees with the AEP Texas Kenedy Service Center came together to help a food pantry and library in the small city of Runge. The service center donated $1,500 to the city for supplies and employees also came together to donate $400 worth of non-perishable items.
