The Vannie Cook Toy Drive showed the impact AEP Texas employees can make when they come together for a worthy cause.
Employees at the AEP Texas Pharr North Service Center hosted an Adopt-An-Angel event for deserving kids from McAllen. The day even included a visit from Santa Claus.
AEP's Empowered Parents & Caregivers Employee Resource Group hosted a Christmas card drive to collect over 100 holiday greetings for local nursing home residents.
The AEP Hispanic Origin Latin American (HOLA!) Employee Resource Group donated $1,000 to the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial High School mariachi program.
AEP Texas employees helped members of the Corpus Christi Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) raise money for scholarships.

AEP Texas is the title sponsor of Peppermint Lane, an outdoor holiday market every Sunday from Thanksgiving to Christmas. AEP Texas Director of Communications Omar Lopez helped switch the lights on downtown. Local businesses lit up their storefronts, bringing holiday cheer to the community.
