AEP Texas powered the annual Islander Lights event at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. President & COO Judith E. Talavera helped flip the switch, bringing holiday cheer to the community with dazzling lights and celebration.

The Hispanic Origin Latin American (HOLA) Employee Resource Group (ERG) gathered on Wednesday, October 30, to celebrate Día de los Muertos at each AEP Texas district.
AEP Texas and the AEP Foundation recently sponsored the Run The Runway 5K at the Corpus Christi International Airport, raising $62,000 for Wings of Texas.
AEP Texas employees participated in the October 5 Corpus Christi Heart Walk, raising over $400,000 for heart disease awareness. Participants walked or ran to support survivors, while the event promoted health and a sense of community.
AEP Texas participated in Kenedy ISD's "Career with Trucks" event, where over 300 students explored utility careers and learned how AEP Texas powers their community.
AEP Texas Communications Director joined the Robstown Women's Chapter of the American G.I. Forum at a Corpus Christi elementary school to read winning essays that answered the question, "Why is Education Important?"
