AEP Texas sponsored a professional development workshop for members of the Women’s International Network of Utility Professionals (WiNUP) on April 17, offering networking opportunities and career resources to support women in the utility industry.

Women from across the country traveled to the AEP Texas Home Office in Corpus Christi to attend the 2026 WiNUP Regional Workshop. Attendees heard from speakers that included state representatives, local leaders and career counselors who offered resume-building tips and practical career advice.

Stephanie Hajducek, founder of This One’s for the Gals (TOFTG), described how her nonprofit partners with schools, workforce development programs and industry partners to introduce girls to careers in construction, energy, manufacturing and maritime fields. WiNUP presented a donation check for $1,700 to TOFTG during the workshop.
