Students at Rainbow Bible School had the chance to learn more about AEP Texas and see a bucket truck up close. Service Crew Leader Jeff Ziehr and Service Mechanics Chad Wilson, and Travis Cauthen attended the school’s annual Touch a Truck event and enjoyed seeing the young children get excited about their profession.
“We enjoy visiting with grade schoolers to share our stories and knowledge because we take pride in our profession and enjoy the community involvement,” said Ziehr. “We feel it is important to raise awareness and teach them about being safe around electricity.”
Ziehr also said getting to share his profession with his grandchildren made the event even more special.
