AEP Texas employees joined thousands of community members at the 30th Annual Coastal Bend Heart Walk in Corpus Christi, walking alongside fellow attendees and volunteering to power heart-healthy habits.

Employees participated in the event by walking and volunteering at the “Rethink Your Drink” booth, where community members received refreshing fruit- and vegetable-infused water and information about healthier beverage choices. AEP Texas also served as a sponsor of the event, which brings the community together to raise awareness and support the fight against heart disease and stroke.

“Through community engagement and volunteerism, AEP Texas helped promote heart-healthy habits and support the American Heart Association’s mission to build healthier lives and stronger communities,” said Gricelda Calzada, regional director of external affairs.
