As floodwaters rose around Crystal City and impacted local residents, AEP Texas employees answered the call to help by assisting with food distribution efforts for those affected by the flooding.
The effort helped ensure residents had access to critical resources while recovery operations continued throughout the area. “Our employees live and work in these communities, and they understand the importance of coming together to support neighbors who have been impacted by disasters,” External Affairs Manager Jimmy Earnest said.
The volunteer effort reflected AEP Texas’ commitment to standing with communities during times of need and helping neighbors recover after severe weather.
