The AEP Texas Foundation is supporting Youth Odyssey’s mission to empower young people ages 10 to 17 through outdoor adventure, leadership development, and character-building experiences. Gricelda Calzada, regional director of external affairs, presented the Foundation’s grant check to Youth Odyssey representatives at the AEP Texas Home Office in Corpus Christi.

Since its founding, Youth Odyssey has provided life-changing opportunities to approximately 15,000 youth throughout the Coastal Bend. The organization continues to create meaningful experiences that help young people grow in a supportive and engaging environment.

The Foundation’s funding will expand access to programs that build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and other important life skills. The grant aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to youth development and education by helping ensure local students have opportunities that inspire personal growth and long-term success.
