More than 200 students gathered to learn about potential career paths at AEP Texas during the TLCA High School career fair in San Angelo.

Senior Technician Ty Kothmann, External Affairs Manager Fred Guerrero, and Senior Technician Brandon Poyner represented the company and spoke with students about the wide range of career opportunities available within AEP Texas. Career questions concentrated around accounting, legal, and engineering positions, as well as hands-on jobs such as lineworkers and mechanics.

During the event, students engaged with representatives by asking questions about the work performed across the utility industry and how their unique skills and interests could align with those careers. 

"The career fair provided an opportunity for students to learn how different roles within AEP Texas support operations and contribute to the communities the company serves," Guerrero said.
